Standard epoxy is affordable and builds thick, but it cures slowly and can amber in sunlight. Polyaspartic and polyurea systems cure in 1 to 2 hours, resist UV yellowing, and tolerate a wider temperature range, which is why pros often pour an epoxy base and finish with a polyaspartic topcoat.
