Adhesive Remover
Apply 91 percent IPA directly to a cotton ball, hold against tape residue or sticker glue for 60 seconds, then wipe. Works on glass, metal, and most hard plastics.
Laptop Keyboard Cleaning
Power off. Apply a few drops of 91 percent IPA to a soft cloth (never spray directly on the laptop). Wipe each key. For deep grime, dip a cotton swab in IPA, squeeze out excess, and clean between keys. Let dry 5 minutes before powering on.
Storage and Shelf Life
Isopropyl alcohol lasts indefinitely in a sealed bottle. Once opened, alcohol slowly evaporates and weakens. A bottle left open or with a loose cap can drop from 70 percent to 50 percent in a year, which is no longer effective for disinfection. Store with the cap fully tight and in a cool dark cabinet.

Where Isopropyl Alcohol Beats Other Cleaners
Compared to bleach, IPA evaporates without leaving residue, does not damage stainless steel or fabric, and works at room temperature. Compared to vinegar, IPA disinfects bacteria and viruses where vinegar mostly does not. Compared to commercial multi-surface cleaners, IPA is cheaper per use and you control the strength.
