It is the wrong choice for homes with permanent radiant heat above 85°F (most products cap there), rooms over 30 feet in any direction without expansion breaks, and high-traffic commercial spaces that need the abrasion rating of glue-down LVT. Above-grade installations over uneven 1900s subfloors are also rough — the click joints simply will not seat without major prep.
