Confirm the sheet material is rated for coved installation in the manufacturer’s technical data sheet (TDS) — not every product in a range is cove-capable. Specify heat-welded seams as a line item, because some contractors will attempt cold-bond seams to save time, and cold bonds fail in wet environments.
