Where Floor Units Beat Wall-Mounted Ones

The floor style solves several real-world problems that trip up high-wall installs:

  • Rooms with lots of windows: when glass eats most of the upper wall, there is nowhere to hang a high unit; a floor console tucks under the windows.

Placement Tips That Maximize Performance

Where you put the floor console has a big effect on how well it heats and cools. Under a window is often ideal, since the rising warm air counteracts the cold draft that windows shed in winter.

Aim the airflow toward the center of the room, not into a corner, so conditioned air circulates fully.
